In her free time, Helen can be found reading a book or watching Doctor Who curled up with her dog, Pippin. Angélique (she/they) giddily joined the BRC in early 2022. A Massachusetts gal transplanted to the Upper Valley of Vermont with pets and a partner, Angélique supports identity-based student programming at Dartmouth College. In Community Engagement and are en route to becoming a Certified Holistic Sex Educator. Much of Angélique’s professional and volunteer work centers sexuality, gender, justice, and health. It was a roundabout way to learn that, if we truly believe everyone deserves a world in which they can thrive in their sexuality and gender, we must include ourselves.

Since some bookkeeping boston clubs seem to have more rules and stipulations than the authority they seem to want to flaunt, it’s not hard to see how The Litas have succeeded. Especially with women, who may be initially intimidated by motorcycles and have some preconceived ideas as to what a motorcycle group is like. Jessica started working to expand The Litas and open it up to different cities around the U.S. Soon she was getting requests to start branches (notice she’s not called them chapters) from other countries.

I played June in the musical Gypsy and I was the orphan Pepper in Annie. We even got to use the real orphan beds from the original production of Annie as the musical was first performed and written at the Goodspeed in East Haddam and I grew up in Haddam CT. Late last year, she took it a step further and quit her full-time job heading operations for a startup so she could focus on growing The Litas. Jessica quickly caught on to the fact the little rebel was neither fast or really very rebellious, so she upped the ante and got a ’92 Yamaha XS400. Luckily, two brothers in Salt Lake City, Seth and Jason “Rev” Clark of Salt City Builds, helped keep it running long enough for Jessica to realize that owning a newer bike was probably a better idea.

Jessica is a nonprofit development specialist. She has recently become the first official staff member for BRC and is extremely passionate about nonprofit and community organizations. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration and a Certificate in Digital Marketing Analysis. Originally from Brooklyn, she moved to North Cambridge five years ago. Jess realized her bisexuality when she was a teen when a friend straight up asked her “Hey, are you bi? ” Since then, she has navigated the bi+ world on her own until 2017, when she first learned of BRC.

Besides fishing the Farmington river he also fishes around the world, sometimes before and after sailing regattas. His next trip out of the country is scheduled for the Fall of 2023 when he will go to Mongolia to fish for Taimen, the worlds largest trout. He will also be involved in a medical mission during that trip to bring medical care to the children who live on the Mongolian plains who otherwise do not receive regular care.

Jessica, “Belle” to her friends, is a nonprofit professional passionate about leaving her communities better than she found them. Unlike a lot of men and women who ride today, Jessica didn’t find herself obsessed with or even interested in motorcycles because a dad, brother or older sibling got her on one at an early age. Her first experience was a quick ride on her older brother’s dirt bike, but that didn’t leave much of an impression or trigger any desire to get one.
